Victorian console

Share

THE BRIEF

We had a Victorian console brought into us from a local client, he had purchased it from a antiques auction, straight away we knew this just had to be done in spray on liquid metal, the big decision was going to what finish to go for, after vetting our client and finding out his tastes and where the console was to go we cracked on

RESULT

We had to isolate this wooden structure with a special coating and leave it to rest for a good week to ensure there wouldn't be any reactions from previous products used over the years, then we primed the complete console and again left it to rest for a good week, finally we coated the unit in spray on liquid metal " verometal" our client went for dubi gold, a mixture of liquid copper and brass, the end result was amazing our client couldn't believe the end result, very very chuffed as they say
